In all things, Jesus the face of God’s mercy looks upon us with the peace of the interior gaze, seeing who we really are right down to our core and loving us from top to bottom. The school year of 2018-2019 has been full of the Spirit of Grace, but that Spirit has come amidst some serious suffering and trial.
When we remember this year, let us remember the love that held our Feehan Family together and allowed us to support each other even when we felt ourselves falling apart with grief. Let us remember our sense of joy and gratitude awakened in each day and in each person we encountered. Let us remember to cherish ourselves and each other, the good days and the bad days, as gifts which will take a lifetime to unwrap.
This moment, as in all other moments, God is faithful to his word: “Be Not Afraid!” (Mt28:10) and “I am with you always, until the end of the world.” (Mt28:20) May each of us trust in the Creator enough to allow him to transform our suffering into love.
