I'm thinking of a series of posts reflecting on the opportunities that the Supreme Court ruling on assisted suicide gives us.
First off, our mortality is in the news and talked about. This is unusual and opportune.
Because the fear and shame and anger that accompanies our mortality has a beautiful and inspiring answer.
We have seen hope and love and overwhelming power of life in the worst deaths and we can share in resurrection today and always.
That is, we can talk about what we're all about as Christians. [hint: we're not all about authority and control]
